A Series Of Unfortunate Events - A/B Redesign Adventure

Indeed's job search website uses A/B testing extensively. Most product managers already get how A/B testing can help you choose simple things like button text and icon colors. But how do you use a data-driven approach to roll out a new design of a major feature? Join us to find out what we learned and figured out the hard way, using data to launch a new design across desktop and mobile, and across 28 languages, for tens of millions of users.

Agenda

About Indeed

Indeed is the #1 job site worldwide, with over 180 million unique visitors per month. Indeed is available in more than 50 countries and 28 languages, covering 94% of global GDP. Since 2004, Indeed has given job seekers free access to millions of jobs from thousands of company websites and job boards.

About Michael Miller

Michael is a product manager at the Indeed Japan Ebisu tech office, helping to craft products both for the global and the domestic markets. After leaving the cow-filled frozen tundra of Wisconsin at a tender young age, he moved to Tokyo where he has spent the last decade designing services and experiences for some of the world's largest digital and tech companies. In his off time, he can often be found obsessing about design, exploring the hidden corners of the App Store for diamonds in the rough, and patiently dusting his rather large Lego minifigure collection.
